Operational Requirements
The Bank Authorization Letter must follow the ‘Appendix G’ format prescribed by Customs. It must include the bank’s unique AD Code, the company’s IEC, and must be signed by the Branch Manager with an official seal.
Registration requires a Class 3 Digital Signature Certificate (DSC) mapped to the IEC. Without a valid DSC, the ‘Authorized Representative’ cannot verify the bank details on the ICEGATE portal.
Every port registration is linked to a specific IFSC. If your bank branch changes, a fresh AD Code registration is mandatory to avoid ‘Scroll Generation’ errors during export.
